EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that there will be a number of upcoming road and lane closures to accommodate work associated with the ongoing Infrastructure Restructure Project next week/weekend.
Harrison Road, north of Michigan Avenue, will be closed to traffic beginning at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5 and the roadway will re-open to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. One lane of eastbound and westbound Michigan Avenue will remain open and access to businesses located on Harrison Road will be maintained at all times. A detour will be in place.
Additionally, westbound Michigan Avenue will be closed to traffic east of Harrison Road beginning at approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and the roadway will re-open to traffic prior to 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. A detour will be in place.
Advanced signage will be in place to guide motorists along the detour route during both closures. View the detour routes for both closures here.
