EAST LANSING, Mich. — Sidewalk and intermittent lane closures along Grand River Avenue will begin Thursday, May 23 to accommodate the removal of a covered pedestrian walkway and streetscape/sidewalk improvements for The Hub redevelopment project, located at the southeast corner of Grand River Avenue and Bogue Street.
The work will require intermittent eastbound lane closures on Grand River Avenue in the project area, closures of the north-south and east-west crosswalks at the Bogue-Grand River intersection and a closure of the sidewalk on the south side of Grand River Avenue, from Bogue Street to Cedar Street. The intermittent lane closures will be in place for approximately three days, while the crosswalk and sidewalk closures will be in place through Aug. 1. Pedestrians are encouraged to follow detour signs and exercise caution in the area.
