EAST LANSING, Mich. — All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) and Riverwalk Theatre are partnering to bring “The Wizard of Oz” to the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) stage, 819 Abbot Road, April 26-28 and May 2-5.
The Thursday show will take place at 10 a.m., Friday shows will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday shows will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday shows will take place at 3 p.m. More than 80 youth and adults will take part in this special production, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of both theatres and the 80th anniversary of the MGM film.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Riverwalk Theatre for this special production,” said AECT Artistic Director Liz Cooke. “This is a great way to bring community members of all ages together to create a live theatre performance.”
Tickets are $10 for children (18 and under) and $12 for adults (18 and above).
