EAST LANSING, Mich. — All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) will bring “My Name is Rumpelstiltskin” and “The Twelve Dancing Princess” to the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) stage, 819 Abbot Road, Feb. 8-10 and Feb. 15-17.
Friday shows will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday shows will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday shows will take place at 3 p.m. More than 75 mid-Michigan youth, ages 9-18, make up the cast and crew of this latest AECT production.
Double feature productions like this are very exciting for our youth as it lets them experience two stories at once, and also gives us the opportunity to involve more youth than a regular production,” said AECT Artistic Director Liz Cooke. “Everyone is looking forward to sharing these classic fairy tales with the public.”
Tickets are $7 for children (17 and under) and $10 for adults (18 and above). Community members can purchase tickets ahead of time by visiting the ELHCC Box Office or by calling (517) 333-2580 ext. 0. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
