EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Greater Lansing Area Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission will recognize its major sponsors at a special press event on Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. Members of the media are welcome to attend.

The major sponsors are the Great Lakes Capital Fund ($20,000), Jackson National Life ($10,000), the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union ($10,000), AT&T ($9,000) and McDonald Broadcasting ($50,000 in-kind donation).

The funding will help support the MLK Commission, which works each year to support equality, diversity and social justice in the Greater Lansing community.
