EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Red Cedar River has reached the Moderate Flood Stage. The water levels have increased to a point that it has impacted some homes in East Lansing’s Red Cedar neighborhood.City officials are monitoring the situation and emergency personnel will be doing door-to-door wellness checks in affected areas today. The impact is localized to the southwest side of the Red Cedar neighborhood.Based on projected models from the National Weather Service, the current level of the Red Cedar River is 10.11 feet and it is expected to crest this evening at 10.3 feet.
