EAST LANSING, Mich. — The administration of the Oath of Office for the re-elected and newly elected East Lansing City Councilmembers will take place at a special meeting on Monday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. in Courtroom 2 of the East Lansing 54B District Court, 101 Linden St.
East Lansing City Clerk Marie Wicks will administer the Oath of Office to the City Councilmembers-elect: Ruth Beier and Aaron Stephens.
The Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem will then be elected by the City Council and the Oath of Office will be administered for those leadership positions at a special meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. in Courtroom 2 of the East Lansing 54B District Court.
The special meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21 will be followed by City Council’s regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the same location. There will be opportunities for public comment at all three meetings.
