EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Summer Solstice Jazz Festival will transform downtown East Lansing into a world class jazz venue featuring the best in local, regional, national and international jazz musicians this weekend, June 23-24.
The festival will be taking place at multiple venues in and around downtown, including the Albert Avenue Lot, 230 Albert Ave.; Ann Street Plaza (corner of Albert and M.A.C. avenues); the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum, 547 E. Circle Drive; and Field House, 213 Ann St. The festival hours are 4 p.m.-1 a.m. on Friday, June 23 and noon-1 a.m. on Saturday, June 24. To accommodate the festival, Albert Avenue, between Abbot Road and M.A.C. Avenue, will be closed to traffic, beginning at noon on Friday, June 23 through midnight Saturday, June 24. Additionally, the Albert Avenue Lot, 230 Albert Avenue, will close Thursday, June 22 at 5 p.m. and will remain closed until noon on Sunday, June 25.
