EAST LANSING, Mich. — The 54th Annual East Lansing Art Festival (ELAF) will bring 174 artists and tens of thousands of visitors to downtown East Lansing next weekend, May 20-21. To accommodate the festival, there will be a number of street and parking lot closures in the downtown from Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21:
- Albert Avenue, from M.A.C. Avenue to Evergreen Avenue, will be closed from 5 a.m. on Friday, May 19 through 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
- Abbot Road, from Grand River Avenue to Elizabeth Street, will be closed from10 a.m. on Friday, May 19 through 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21. Access to the Grove Street parking structure will be open to artists and community members with access from Elizabeth Street to Park Lane, Linden Street and Grove Street.
- M.A.C. Avenue, from Grand River Avenue to Albert Avenue, will be closed from noon on Friday, May 19 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
- The Albert Avenue surface lot, 230 Albert Ave., and the City Hall North surface lot, 410 Abbot Road, will be closed from 3 a.m. on Friday, May 19 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
- The Abbot/Albert surface lot (Dublin Square), 311 Abbot Road; the Evergreen Avenue surface lot, 275 Evergreen Ave. (behind Peoples Church); and the City Hall West surface lot, 415 Abbot Road will be closed from 7 a.m. on Friday, May 19 through 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
