EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Children’s Concert Series returns this January, featuring three Saturdays of live musical entertainment for children of all ages. The concerts are free and open to all.
The concerts will take place at 11 a.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road, on the following dates:
Saturday, Jan. 14 – Mark Dvorak, an American folk singer from Chicago, will perform. He captures the innocence, strength and beauty of folk music and encourages young audiences to join in the fun. Learn more: http://www.markdvorak.com/.
Dvorak’s performance will be hosted in conjunction with the Mid-Winter Singing & Folk Festival, taking place Jan. 13-14. Learn more at http://www.singingfestival.com/.
Saturday, Jan. 21 – Tim the Music Man, a seasoned Lansing-area musician, will perform. Tim has been writing and performing interactive songs for children since 2010. His funny and peppy tunes are fully relatable for young kids. Learn more: http://www.timthemusicmansings.com/.
Saturday, Jan. 28 – Gemini, a nationally renowned children’s music duo, will perform. Gemini’s concerts are filled with rousing sing-alongs, folk tales and music from around the world. Learn more: http://www.geminichildrensmusic.com/.
