EAST LANSING, Mich. — Downtown East Lansing's 2016 Sidewalk Sales will be taking place Saturday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 11.
During the Sidewalk Sales, downtown merchants will be offering sales and specials along sidewalks and in stores. Hours will vary among participating businesses.
The Sidewalk Sales provide community members and visitors alike with a great opportunity to shop local at downtown East Lansing's eclectic mix of shops, art galleries and restaurants, while taking advantage of some great deals. Shoppers will find back-to-school products, art, MSU merchandise, tailgate necessities, gifts, clothing, accessories and everything in between - all at great prices. While out shopping the sales, patrons are encouraged to grab a bite to eat at a participating restaurant.
Previously hosted in July, the Sidewalk Sales dates were moved this year to include incoming MSU students.
“We hope to see a great mix of community members out and about in downtown East Lansing during the Sidewalk Sales weekend,” said East Lansing Downtown Management Board Coordinator Eric Fox.
