EAST LANSING, Mich. — All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) will bring “Thumbelina” to the Riverwalk Theatre stage, 228 Museum Drive in Lansing, April 22-24 and April 29-May 1.
Friday shows will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday shows will take place at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Sunday shows will take place at 2 p.m. There will also be a group show on Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. A total of 70 area youth, ages 8-15, make up the cast and crew of this latest AECT production.
“Thumbelina is such a cool show for kids to perform because it isn’t as widely known today as other fairytale stories,” said Bailey Austin Davis, the show’s director. “The production encourages so much originality in their performances as young actors.”
Tickets are $5 for children and $7 for adults. Community members can purchase tickets by visiting the Riverwalk Theatre box office, 228 Museum Drive, or calling (517) 482-5700. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.riverwalktheatre.com or at the door. Visit www.cityofeastlansing.com/allofus for more information.
This latest AECT production is generously sponsored by Jackson National Life and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
