EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are encouraged to line the streets of the City in support of the East Lansing High School (ELHS) Homecoming Parade, which will occur Friday, Sept. 29, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised of temporary road closures along the parade route and advised to seek alternate routes during the duration of the parade. Streets will close beginning at 4:45 p.m. and reopen to traffic when the parade concludes, approximately 6:30 p.m.
The 1.7 mile parade route is as follows:
- South on Old Hickory Lane
- West on Burcham Drive
- South of MAC Avenue
- East on Albert Avenue
- North on Bailey Street
- West on Burcham Drive
- North on Old Hickory Lane
The East Lansing Police Department will be on site to ensure a safe school celebration and to assist with closures of the streets to traffic.
