EAST LANSING, Mich. — City of East Lansing offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day.
The following offices/buildings will be closed for the holiday:
- East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road
- East Lansing 54-B District Court, 101 Linden St.
- East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road
- East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road
- East Lansing Prime Time, 819 Abbot Road
- East Lansing Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road
In addition to being closed on Monday for Labor Day, the East Lansing Hannah Community Center will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 and remain closed through the weekend. It will reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5 for regular hours.
The East Lansing Family Aquatic Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3. The last day for the 2023 season will be Monday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The East Lansing Public Library will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 3 as well as Monday, Sept. 4. After Labor Day weekend, the library will be open on Sundays.
There will be no bulk item or yard waste collection Monday, Sept. 4 due to Labor Day. Yard waste and bulk item collection will resume on Monday, Sept. 11.
