EAST LANSING, Mich. — Motorists are advised that construction is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of April 10 on Coolidge Road, from Coleman Road to State Road, in the City of East Lansing.
Coolidge Road will be closed to through traffic until May 1, 2023 and the Coleman-Coolidge intersection will be closed beginning May 1, 2023. Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detours and seek alternate routes if possible. Local resident and commercial property access will be maintained to the greatest extent possible during the project’s duration.
The work on Coolidge Road will consist of spot curb and gutter repair, manhole structure adjustments and milling/resurfacing of the roadway. These improvements are part of an ongoing program to improve infrastructure throughout the City of East Lansing.
