EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that counseling services will not be available today at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) as the scheduled counselors are unable to travel to East Lansing due to the inclement weather.
Counseling services will; however, be available today at the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), 950 Abbot Road, from noon-5:30 p.m. and MSU has published a webpage with additional information about crisis support services being offered on campus and virtually: https://caps.msu.edu/emergency/feb2023crisisresponse/index.html.
Community members are also advised that counseling services will be offered at the ELHCC, 819 Abbot Road, next week from 2-6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20; Tuesday, Feb. 21; Wednesday, Feb. 22; and Thursday, Feb. 23. Counseling services will also be offered at ELPL next week from noon-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21; Wednesday, Feb. 22; Thursday, Feb. 23; and Friday, Feb. 24.
Therapy dogs will continue to be available at both locations on an intermittent basis as well.
These crisis support services are available to anyone in the community in need.
