[ARCHIVED] All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre to Present “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”

EAST LANSING, Mich. — All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) is pleased to present “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” over the first two weekends in February.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 10, as well as at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 4-5 and Feb. 11-12. The performances will be held in the Albert A. White Performing Arts Theater at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road. 

This production recreates the magic and mystery of the classic story by C.S. Lewis about four siblings who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting world of Narnia, where they meet Aslan the lion and struggle with the White Witch. Over 70 youth from the mid-Michigan area are participating on the cast and crews.

Tickets are $7 for youth (17 and under) and $10 for adults (18 and older). Purchase tickets at the ELHCC Box Office by calling (517) 333-2580 ext. 0 or going online to Tickets can also be purchased in person at 819 Abbot Road.

This production is generously sponsored by Jackson National Life, the Michigan Arts and Culture Council, Ingham County Hotel/Motel Fund, the Arts Council of Greater Lansing and the East Lansing Arts Commission. 

All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) offers young people of all backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles the opportunity to produce professional quality plays, study many aspects of the dramatic arts and develop valuable life skills while providing outstanding entertainment to the community. AECT brings four major productions to the Greater Lansing community each year with the help of hundreds of youth from throughout the region.
