[ARCHIVED] City Offices to be Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving

City of East Lansing offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 in observance of Thanksgiving.

City offices closed Nov. 24-25 will include East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing Department of Public Works, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) and East Lansing Prime Time.

In addition to being closed Nov. 24-25, ELHCC and ELPL will have the following additional closures and adjusted hours for the holiday:

ELHCC will be closed Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27 in addition to the closure dates listed above. ELHCC will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 28.
ELPL will close early on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. The library will resume normal hours on Saturday, Nov. 26.

There will be no trash or recycling collection on Thursday, Nov. 24. Trash and recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 25 for both Thursday and Friday.
