EAST LANSING, Mich. – The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred early this morning at the Durand-Orchard intersection in East Lansing.
ELPD was dispatched to the scene of the accident at 1:47 a.m. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle, 24-year-old Levi Light and 22-year-old Reba Williams, were discovered deceased at the scene. According to witness statements, there was a collision with another vehicle in the intersection. The driver of the other vehicle did not sustain any life threatening injuries. This accident remains under investigation by ELPD.
The families of the deceased have been notified. ELPD would like to extend sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
