  • Tuesday, July 12 - Joel Tacey
Joel Tacey, Michigan's Family Funnyman™, has performed for audiences across the globe at libraries, schools, festivals and special events since 1995. His comedy/magic shows guarantee big laughs and big fun for everyone.

  • Tuesday, July 26 – Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum will be bringing their program, Walking Up a Food Chain. Participants will construct a live food chain as they meet different, live animals up close! Participants will learn how these animals’ lives are connected and about the delicate balance that allows them to survive both individually and together as wildlife who share a habitat.

  • Tuesday, Aug. 9 – Kevin Devine

Kevin Devine is an award-winning children’s entertainer, songwriter and recording artist specializing in rollicking, participatory concerts for children and families full of sing-alongs and dancing.

The Play in the Park children’s entertainment series has become a beloved summer tradition in East Lansing. Children and their families can bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs and enjoy a series of fun evenings in the park. The Play in the Park events will be canceled in the event of rain or severe weather.
