EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are invited to a Family Fun Day at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road, on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Family Fun Day will cap off the ELHCC’s 20th Anniversary celebration and will offer free fun for the entire family. The event will feature an inflatable obstacle course, a bounce house, a magician, lawn games and activities, free food (while supplies last), music and more. Children will also have the opportunity to explore a fire truck from the East Lansing Fire Department at the event.
Additionally, the event will include a bike, wagon and stroller decorating contest. Community members can decorate their wheels at home and head over to the ELHCC event for the chance to win a prize. Contestants will be judged at noon and all entries will receive a participation prize.
The East Lansing Public Library (ELPL) will also be hosting an activity during the Family Fun Day event, titled Tiny Art. Community members can drop in and paint a mini masterpiece on a 4”x4” canvas, which will be displayed at ELPL’s Tiny Art Show later this year. Additional information about the Tiny Art activity is available at https://elpl.bibliocommons.com/events/627d2c0bf4e9e13600c2865f.
Community members with questions about the Family Fun Day event can call the ELHCC at (517) 333-2580 ext. 0. In the event of rain or severe weather, the event will be moved inside the ELHCC.
