EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) will be hosting a Sector 2 Officer Meet & Greet for community members on Sunday, June 12 from 3-5 p.m. at Patriarche Park, 960 Alton Road.
All community members are invited to stop by to meet the Sector 2 officers, ask questions, share concerns and make suggestions. There will also be food and refreshments, and community members are welcome to bring their kids (human and fur)!
ELPD’s sector officers are responsible for working with neighborhoods located in various police sectors throughout the City in order to foster mutually beneficial relationships between community members and police, while also creating opportunities for proactive community engagement.
Sector 2 officers are assigned to the Bailey Neighborhood, Avondale Square and the east end of downtown East Lansing. Sector 2 includes the area bounded by Saginaw Street to the north, Hagadorn Road to the east, Grand River Avenue to the south and Abbot Road to the west.
The Sector 2 Officer Meet & Greet on Sunday, June 12 is not limited to those community members who reside in Sector 2. All community members are welcome to attend!
