Calling all local musicians! The City of East Lansing will host the 3rd Wednesday Open Mic from 7-9 p.m. in Ann Street Plaza in downtown East Lansing on June 17, July 15 and August 19. It’s free!
The open mic series will take place in a unique outdoor setting on the third Wednesday in June, July and August. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and is on a first come, first serve basis. There is a two-song limit. All skill levels are welcome.
The open mic is led by local singer-songwriter Jen Sygit. With three albums under her belt, Sygit tours regionally and continues to be a regular in the Lansing music scene. Jen is also host of the popular open mic at Dagwood’s Tavern in Lansing.
The series is sponsored by the Downtown Management Board.
