EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) is currently investigating a shooting that occurred just after midnight on Sunday, May 16 at an East Lansing apartment complex.
ELPD officers responded to numerous calls of a shooting with multiple victims, that occurred at an apartment complex in East Lansing. Upon arriving in the 6000 block of Abbot Road, officers located multiple victims. This act of violence does not appear to be random in nature and there is no ongoing threat in the area.
ELPD would like to thank all the police and fire agencies who assisted with the incident.
