EAST LANSING, Mich. — The majority of the City of East Lansing’s regularly scheduled in-person public meetings are currently either being canceled or converted to electronic meetings due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Currently, there are nine electronic meetings scheduled to take place this week:
- East Lansing Commission on the Environment
Monday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.
- East Lansing Downtown Management Board Marketing Committee
Tuesday, March 16 at 4 p.m.
- East Lansing City Council
Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m.
- East Lansing Library Board of Trustees
Wednesday, March 17 at 4:30 p.m.
- East Lansing Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission
Wednesday, March 17 at 7 p.m.
- East Lansing – Meridian Water/Sewer Authority
Thursday, March 18 at 11 a.m.
- East Lansing Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Executive and Finance Committee
Thursday, March 18 at 11:30 a.m.
- DDA Project and Infrastructure Committee
Thursday, March 18 at 12 p.m.
- East Lansing Arts Commission
Thursday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m.
These meetings will be held electronically pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Act 267 of 1976. The public meeting notices and public hearing notices, which include details on how to view the meetings and participate in public comment during the meetings, may be added to the City’s Electronic Meetings webpage, www.cityofeastlansing.com/electronicmeetings, or amended up to 18 hours prior to the meeting. The webpage will continue to be updated as new, electronic meetings are scheduled and public meeting notices are finalized.
