EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Study Committee on an Independent Police Oversight Commission will be hosting a community input meeting on Monday, March 29 at 6 p.m. to gather community feedback and perspectives on policing in East Lansing.
The meeting will begin with an overview of what the Study Committee is working to accomplish, followed by small group break-out discussions. Feedback from the meeting will be used to help the Study Committee finalize its recommendations to the East Lansing City Council on the establishment of an independent police review board/commission. Any interested community members are invited to attend.
