EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing residents are advised that a police-community relations telephone survey will be conducted for the City of East Lansing over the next two weeks, March 1-14. The survey will be administered by EPIC-MRA, a Lansing-based research firm.
The purpose of the survey is to measure the perceptions of East Lansing residents regarding the function, operation and fairness of the East Lansing Police Department. This information is intended to help improve department operations and make future decisions regarding policy, training and allocation of resources. The survey is also intended to be re-administered over time to measure changes in resident perceptions.
Residents are encouraged to participate in this important telephone survey if they are randomly selected. The survey will take approximately ten minutes to complete.
Residents with questions about the survey can reach out to the East Lansing City Manager’s Office at (517) 319-6920.
