[ARCHIVED] City Offices to be Closed Monday, Jan. 18 in Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

EAST LANSING, Mich. — City of East Lansing offices and facilities, with the exception of the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, will be closed Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Offices and facilities that will be closed* include East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Department of Public Works and the East Lansing Public Library. The East Lansing Hannah Community Center will be open during regular hours.

There will be no bulk item collection on Monday, Jan. 18.

*Please note that City buildings listed above are expected to be closed for in-person transactions until further notice due to COVID-19. Essential staff are continuing to report to work and non-essential staff are working from home where possible and remain available through remote options on non-holiday workdays. Please note that during the holiday closure listed above, non-essential staff will be unavailable via remote options.
