EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing will hold a public hearing on Monday, Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. to hear public comments related to the 2019 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER), which covers activities undertaken by the City of East Lansing through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
Community members can view the 2019 CDBG Program CAPER and learn more about how to provide written comments at https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/327/CDBG-Program-Funding. Comments can also be provided during the public hearing, which will be held electronically due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Details on how to view the public hearing and participate in public comment during the public hearing is available at www.cityofeastlansing.com/electronicmeetings.
Currently, this is only electronic meeting scheduled to take place next week. The public hearing will be held electronically pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Act 267 of 1976, and the capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements set forth in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Director's Emergency Orders.
