EAST LANSING, Mich. – The East Lansing Community Relations Coalition (CRC) is proud to host the 4th Annual Taste of East Lansing on Saturday, April 25 from 3-6 p.m. within the 200 block of Albert Avenue in downtown East Lansing.

This fun community event will feature samples of local cuisine, live music and family activities. Food tickets can be purchased at the event for $2 each (cash only) and food samples can be redeemed for one or two tickets each. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Capital Area Housing Partnership (CAHP) – a nonprofit that has been providing homeownership assistance programs to qualified homebuyers and homeowners for more than 20 years – for use in beautification efforts in East Lansing neighborhoods.

The Food
This year’s participating restaurants include HopCat East Lansing, Espresso Royale, Sweet Lorraine’s Fabulous Mac ‘n Cheez, The State Room, Jonna’s 2 Go – East Lansing, What Up Dawg?, Beggar’s Banquet, Noodles & Company, Buffalo Wild Wings, Harper’s Restaurant & Brewpub, Swagath Indian Cuisine, Dublin Square Irish Pub, Black Cat Bistro, MSU Culinary Services and Spartan Signature Catering.

Family Activities
Family activities will include a CAHP photo booth, face painting, a “Living Necklace” activity provided by the Greater Lansing Food Bank, the East Lansing Police Department Bike Patrol and an East Lansing Fire Department truck.
