EAST LANSING, Mich. — In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the East Lansing Human Relations Commission (HRC) will be hosting a webinar titled “30 Years After the ADA – How Are we Doing?” on Monday, July 27 from 7-8:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The event will consist of a facilitated discussion on the topic by panelists Patrick D. Cannon, Karen Hurwitz Hoene, Lucia Rios and Dominick Harper. The event will be facilitated by Liz Miller, who has served on the HRC for three years and is the pastor of Edgewood United Church, UCC in East Lansing.
Additionally, the event will include a Q&A portion, where online participants will have the opportunity to submit their questions via online chat.
