[ARCHIVED] City of East Lansing Offices to be Closed Friday, July 3 for Fourth of July Holiday

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that City of East Lansing offices will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

East Lansing City Hall and the East Lansing 54B District Court will be closed to the public and staff will be unavailable by phone at all City buildings. Community members will still be able to call (517) 351-4220 for non-emergency matters and 911 for emergencies. Friday’s curbside refuse and recycling will be collected as regularly scheduled on Friday, July 3.

Community members are reminded that East Lansing City Hall and the East Lansing 54B District Court will continue to be closed to the public on Fridays through July 24 due to reduced staff hours. Adjusted hours for East Lansing City Hall are Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and adjusted hours for the East Lansing 54B District Court are Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. All other City buildings remain closed to the public until further notice at this time.
