EAST LANSING, Mich. — Residents are advised that the East Lansing Fire Department (ELFD) has lifted the temporary suspension on recreational fires in the East Lansing community.
While the issuance of fire permits has resumed, ELFD asks that community members send fire permit applications by mail, email or fax instead of dropping them off in person. The application (fillable PDF coming soon) is available here: https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/236/Tent-Outdoor-Fire-Permits.
