EAST LANSING, Mich. — While the City of East Lansing’s regularly scheduled, in-person public meetings have been canceled through the end of June, a limited number of special meetings will be scheduled to take place electronically as needed due to the continued COVID-19 crisis.
Currently, there are four meetings scheduled to take place electronically next week:
- East Lansing City Council Special Meeting
Tuesday, June 9
7 p.m.
- East Lansing DDA Public Policy & Market Development Committee Special Meeting
Wednesday, June 10
1:30 p.m.
- East Lansing Planning Commission Special Meeting
Wednesday, June 10
7 p.m.
- East Lansing Downtown Development Authority Special Meeting
Thursday, June 11
12 p.m.
These meetings will be held electronically pursuant to Executive Order 2020-75 issued by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The public meeting notices, which will include additional details on how to view the meetings participate in public comment during the meetings, and agenda packets may be added to the City’s Electronic Meetings webpage or amended up to 18 hours prior to the meeting.
The Electronic Meetings webpage also includes additional electronic meetings scheduled to take place this month. The webpage will continue to be updated as new meetings are scheduled and public meeting notices are finalized.
