EAST LANSING, Mich. — While the City of East Lansing’s regularly scheduled, in-person public meetings have been canceled through June 12, a limited number of special meetings will be scheduled to take place electronically as needed due to the continued COVID-19 crisis.
Currently, there are two meetings scheduled to take place electronically next week:
- East Lansing City Council Special Meeting
Tuesday, June 9
- East Lansing Planning Commission
Wednesday, June 10
These meetings will be held electronically pursuant to Executive Orders 2020-75 issued by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The public meeting notices, which will include additional details on how to participate in public comment during the meeting, and agenda packets may be added to the City’s Electronic Meetings webpage or amended up to 18 hours prior to the meeting.
The Electronic Meetings webpage also includes additional electronic meetings scheduled to take place this month. The webpage will continue to be updated as new meetings are scheduled and public meeting notices are finalized.
