EAST LANSING, Mich. — The grant application for the East Lansing Downtown Development Authority’s (DDA) Business Relief Program (BRP) will close tonight at 11:59 p.m.
The DDA has allocated $250,000 in discretionary funds to launch the BRP for DDA businesses that are suffering financial hardship as a result of the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) crisis. Through the program, 100 eligible DDA businesses will be awarded $2,500 business relief grants.
The BRP grant application for business relief grant funds can be accessed from the City of East Lansing’s website: www.cityofeastlansing.com/businessrelief.
Businesses wishing to apply for BRP grant funds must be physically located (brick and mortar) within the DDA boundaries; must be directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis and related executive orders; and must not be delinquent on any accounts, fees or assessments owed to the City of East Lansing prior to the City’s COVID-19 local state of emergency declaration.
