EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), through a partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), is administering 60 $10,000 working capital grants to Michigan-owned small businesses in the tri-county region, including East Lansing businesses.Grants will be administered to Michigan-based businesses with less than 50 employees that have suffered financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Business owners can visit www.purelansing.com/businessrelief for more details regarding eligibility requirements, program guidelines and a frequently asked questions document, which LEAP plans to update regularly.The application is expected to be posted as earlier as Friday, March 27, 2020 or by Saturday, March 28, 2020, with a quick turnaround for applications from businesses.
