UPDATE: A suspect has been arrested in connection to this case.
EAST LANSING, Mich. — On Friday, Jan. 24 just after 6 a.m., East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) officers responded to a report of an armed robbery and sexual assault at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Abbot Road.
The suspect, armed with a handgun, made entry into the apartment through an unlocked door and, while inside, the suspect physically and sexually assaulted three female victims. Prior to leaving the apartment, the suspect stole various electronics from the victims. The victims required medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident.
The suspect is described as a college-age black male that is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing, including a black, zip-up hooded sweatshirt and partial face covering. He was armed with a silver revolver and is believed to be right-handed.
