[ARCHIVED] ELPD Advises Community of Recent Series of Catalytic Converter Thefts in East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that earlier this week the East Lansing Police Department received five reports of catalytic converter thefts from Honda CR-Vs in the East Lansing community.

ELPD encourages community members with access to a garage to park their vehicles inside if possible. Community members without access to a garage are encouraged to park vehicles in highly visible, well-lit areas if possible.

If community members witness suspicious activity or a theft in progress in their neighborhood, they are encouraged to call 911.
