EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing Department of Public Works (DPW) crews will be completing the final published leaf collection on the City of East Lansing’s east side before the end of this week. They will spend the remainder of this week collecting leaves throughout the City, regardless of area, to collect as many piles that have been raked to the curb as possible.In order to accommodate the snow event and prolonged cold temperatures that prevented many residents from raking leaves to the curb over the past week, DPW will also be extending fall bulk leaf collection to the week of Nov. 25 for the entire City. All residents, regardless of whether they are on the east or west side of the City, should have leaves raked to the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 to ensure collection.Important things to keep in mind:
