Albert EL Fresco Grand Reopening

Community members are reminded that the grand reopening of the Albert EL Fresco pedestrian-friendly area will take place on Thursday, May 12, beginning at 4 p.m. in the heart of downtown East Lansing. The Albert EL Fresco area will be located on Albert Avenue, between Abbot Road and M.A.C. Avenue, and community members are invited to celebrate its return for the summer at the grand reopening event. 

The grand reopening event will include a variety of games and activities, including ping-pong, cornhole and Giant Chess. The event will also include live performances in the Albert EL Fresco area and other adjacent downtown East Lansing areas. Additionally, community members will have the opportunity to visit the East Lansing Public Library’s mobile pop-up library in the Albert EL Fresco area from 4-6 p.m. Learn more about the grand reopening of Albert EL Fresco here.
