Kids Camp is offered through the East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts each summer. This popular summer camp features a different weekly theme and a number of activities, including swimming, field trips, walks to MSU/East Lansing Public Library, art and crafts and outdoor games/activities.
Parents can enjoy the flexibility of signing their child up for a couple of weeks or for the entire summer. Parents have the option of choosing which days they would like their child to attend with a minimum of three days per week. Child care is not offered on holidays.
A weekly newsletter is published to keep parents and families informed on what their child will be experiencing week to week at camp.
Once the form and fee has been returned, parents will be given the complete enrollment packet. Enrollment will be accepted throughout the summer as space is available.
Ratio of Caregivers to Children

Program supervisors have had at least twelve semester hours of college credits in a child-related field. Most child care aides currently attend college and are pursuing degrees in education, child development or nursing.
