Community members are invited to the 2019 Summer Splash – a poolside celebration that will come alive at the East Lansing Family Aquatic Center on Wednesday, July 24.

All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) will bring “Mary Poppins Jr.” to the East Lansing Hannah Community Center stage, 819 Abbot Road, July 26-28 and Aug. 2-4.

East Lansing Family Aquatic Center Open for 2019 Season
The East Lansing Family Aquatic Center, 6400 Abbot Road, is officially open for its 2019 summer season. The 2019 season will run through Monday, Sept. 2.

Small Dog Park Opens in East Lansing
The City of East Lansing is excited to announce that a new 5,625-square-foot, fenced-in area for small dogs is now open to the public at the Northern Tail Dog Park, 6400 Abbot Road.

East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts Shares Community Survey Results
Earlier this year, community members were invited to share input on the City of East Lansing’s update to its Five-Year Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Greenways Plan by attending public input meetings and/or participating in an online community survey. The survey results are now available online.

Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Board Approves $219,000 Grant for Bailey Park Project
The Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Board recently approved a $219,000 grant application from the City of East Lansing for a future improvement project at Bailey Park.

Upcoming Volunteer Park Work Days
Get involved in the restoration of the City's park biotic communities by removing problematic plant species and replacing them with native species. The volunteer work days take place the second Saturday of each month.
