The East Lansing Arts Commission distributes grant funding for public art projects and events in East Lansing. The commission has up to $17,500 to allocate to cultural arts projects for Fiscal Year 2021.
The Cultural Arts Grant program supports high-quality public art projects that encourage artistic expression and public participation, with an emphasis on promoting cultural appreciation for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities as well as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community. Fiscal Year 2021 grant-funded programs must take place between November 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
FY21 Cultural Arts Grant Round Two
$8,697 is available for round two of the Cultural Arts Grants in Fiscal Year 2021. Applications for round two FY21 grants must be received by February 1, 2021 to be considered. Download Application (PDF).
Grant recipients are required to submit an Online Final Report, which is used by the Arts Commission to evaluate funding. Please complete and return the final report within 60 days of the completion day of the funded project or activity.
