ELFM Shoppers

The vendor application period for the 2020 East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM) will begin in early February. Accepted vendors will be notified at the end of April by email/mail. 

This year, there will be a mandatory orientation requirement for accepted vendors. At this orientation, important information regarding changes at the ELFM will be addressed, including required paperwork, the East Lansing Income Tax and market guidelines. Accepted vendors will be notified of the meeting time and place. 

Review Process

All applications are reviewed and participants are selected by the ELFM Planning Committee. The Planning Committee is comprised of vendors, residents and City staff. Applications are reviewed on an annual basis and open stalls will be offered to applicants based on 1) the type of produce and products sold and 2) the date of application. Prior participation does not guarantee a spot in the market, with the exception of vendors who receive an invitation from the Planning Committee to participate.
