Vendor Application

Please note that the deadline has passed to submit vendor applications for the 2022 East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM) season. The ELFM is currently reviewing submitted applications and accepted vendors will be notified at the end of April. Applicants can contact with questions.

Vendor Orientation

This year, there will be a mandatory orientation requirement for accepted vendors. At this orientation, important information regarding changes at the ELFM will be addressed, including required paperwork, the East Lansing Income Tax and market guidelines. The orientation will take place virtually on Friday, May 27 from 5- 6 p.m. via Zoom. Only accepted vendors will receive a link to join the orientation. Vendors are encouraged to review the ELFM 2022 Vendor Guidelines (PDF), which have been updated.

Review Process

All applications are reviewed by the East Lansing Farmers Market Manager.  Applications are reviewed on an annual basis and open stalls will be offered to applicants based on 1) the type of produce and products sold and 2) the date of application. Prior participation does not guarantee a spot in the market.

East Lansing Farmers Market Advisory Committee

Commencing with the 2021 East Lansing Farmers Market season, a Market Advisory Committee, comprised of three full-time vendors, the market manger, City staff and three community members, will be formed. The Committee will adhere to the market guidelines and help represent the market. Members of the committee will serve predetermined terms and be appointed. Community members who are interested in becoming a member of the East Lansing Farmers Market Advisory Committee should contact for details.
