Notice of Public Hearing - Proposed Substantial Amendment to City of East Lansing's Fiscal Year 2021 Community Development Block Grant Program Budget
The East Lansing City Council of the City of East Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan will hold a meeting and public hearing on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 7 p.m. This meeting and public hearing will be held at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, in East Lansing. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the following proposed substantial amendments to the City of East Lansing’s Fiscal Year 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Budget: Allocating $61,338.84 from Capital Area Housing Partnership's Homeownership Opportunity Assistance Program (HOAP) and $58,661.16 in unprogrammed CDBG funds, a total of $120,000, to the following projects:
$40,000 to partially match the Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) grant
$80,000 to increase lighting through downtown East Lansing
