  • Opening Day: The first 100 guests at the ELFM will receive a $2 coupon to spend at the market.
  • Kindness Rocks Garden Dedication (PDF): Community members can collect a rock decorating kit when they visit the opening day of the ELFM. Once decorated, they can add their rock to the Valley Court Park rock garden or in their own garden. This activity is funded through the East Lansing Arts Commission Cultural Arts Grant.
  •  POP Club: The Farmers Market Coalition’s Power of Produce (POP) Club looks to transform your kids into market participants with educational activities, demonstrations, interactions with their local food growers and challenges to try fresh market produce. POP club participation is a win-win for parents and children alike. Parents, witness their kids' light bulb moments as they interact with activities, food and practices that champion a healthy lifestyle. Kids will learn while having fun, with the added bonus of becoming active market members. Signup for the 2021 POP Club is now closed.
  • Library On the Go: The East Lansing Public Library will be bringing its mobile pop-up library to the ELFM. The Library On the Go will have a collection of materials for library patrons to check out, including books, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks.
  • East Lansing Art Festival Tent: Community members will have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer at this year's East Lansing Art Festival. T-shirts will also be handed out to volunteers.
  • Market Day Sponsored by the Lansing Board of Water and Light: The first 50 guests to visit the Lansing Board of Water and Light booth will receive a $2 coupon to use at the market.
  • Spartan Appreciation: The first 100 students who show their college student identification card will receive a $2 coupon to spend at the market.
  • Autumn Fest: Enjoy the splendor of fall at the East Lansing Farmers Market during Autumn Fest! Community members will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun, fall activities, including rock painting, pumpkin painting, fall-themed games and free treats (while supplies last). There will also be an Amazing Clark Ghosts & Goodies Show at 11 a.m. Community members interested in volunteering at Autumn Fest can sign up here.
