DDA Evergreen Properties

At a special meeting on April 23, 2020, the East Lansing Downtown Development Authority (DDA) unanimously approved entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with River Caddis Development for their proposed development project for the DDA-owned Evergreen Avenue properties, located at 314, 328, 334 and 344 Evergreen Ave.

River Caddis’ concept includes an eight-story, 112-foot, mixed-used building with ground floor retail/restaurant space, 250,000 square feet of commercial office space and approximately 250 parking spaces. The MOU provides River Caddis with a 90-day period of exclusivity to pursue their due diligence and work with the DDA and City staff, so long as they pursue the project as originally proposed. A project team made up of members of the DDA and River Caddis will meet regularly to discuss the emerging project proposal and explore the possibility of a public-private partnership.
