Picture ID Requirements

A picture ID is required for in-person voter registration.

Every in-person voter registration applicant has to provide photo identification as of March 27, 2013. If applicant does not present a photo ID, an "Affidavit Of Voter Not In Possession of Picture Identification" must be signed.

Acceptable Forms of ID
Any of the following are acceptable photo ID:
  • Driver’s license or personal identification card issued by another state
  • Federal or state government-issued photo identification
  • Military identification card with photo
  • Student identification with photo from a high school or an accredited institution of higher education
  • Tribal identification card with photo U.S. passport
