Playground in the Park Re-Imagined

About the Park

During the summer of 2014, the City of East Lansing and the Rotary Club of East Lansing partnered for the Playground in the Park Re-Imagined project. With help from the community, the organizations were able to successfully replace the playground at Patriarche Park. Updates to the playground included a wide variety of colorful play equipment, a poured-in-place playground surface, a rain garden, walkways and much more. Community members were also given the opportunity to purchase engraved brick pavers, which were installed in the entry plaza.
